I've decided that I'm going to use my Lj to post links to things that I find cool and/or interesting, and which will most likely be fandom related. To start, there's this, http://girlalive.com/unlinked/spn_map7.png

On a different note, I am saddend by the lack of Dexter fanfiction there is out there. I guess with all the fandoms I've followed in the past being BIG fandoms, I've just come to assume that there is a large abundance of fanfiction for everything. Which there isn't. 

I've just finished painting wood slat things with stain and varnish for my dad and now I have it all over my hands and it won't come off. 

Just washed it off with turps. Am going to go watch more Dexter now.

That... is an impressive map. And that's only counting the airtime, I guess. Who knows how many miles per season since the first several seasons are shot mostly without a timeline.

A friend surprise ambushed me with the Supernatural theme song the other day, and since then, it's all I've had on my mind. It makes me want to watch more episodes, but it's in a queue, and there are so many other pretty things to watch first!

Have you tried AO3 for fanfiction? They don't have a LOT, but there're usually a couple good stories to be found there. Also, LJ communities are rife with all kinds of fandoms. With how popular Dexter is, I'm thinking you shouldn't have too much trouble finding one.

XD yeah, I'm always finding things like that and I never know what to do with them, then the other day I'm like, 'hey, i can post them on my lj!' so wa-la!

That's actually something I've always wondered about, all the hunts and things that go on between the episodes. I mean, obviuosly there are massive time gaps between each episode, but thay never make any references top what they were doing during that time... maybe I'm thinking about this too much..

I love the Supernatural theme song. I find it relaxing (no idea why, just do :P). I kinda want to get it as my ring tone, but then I probably won't find it as relaxing...

Actually, I havn't tried ao3 for Dexter yet. Don't know why I didn't think of it, 'cause I use it all the time for spn and teen wolf fics. Thanks XD

That's the best kind of revelation because it means I can not-stealth-stalk you for the interesting things!

They mention the things off-hand, and you can obviously tell that time has passed, but you have no idea how much or where they were or anything like that. I guess it doesn't really matter--the show's really progressed in the newer seasons. I'm thinking a lot of it had something to do with a jar of pickles, a plastic flamingo and someone's neighbour. (But that could just be an illogical projection. Totally awesome, but just random in the end.)

I do, too! I love the a capella parts. I had to go find it and download it. I listen to it all the time. Along with the O' Death song. They're my favourite from the series. =3

Dah! I use AO3 for everything fanfiction-related. It's my go-to source. Especially for Teen Wolf. It's something like an addiction.
