lemonadetreesSo I just finished watching Thelma and Louise and I loved it. It's amazing. And nothing at all like I expected. I don't know what I expected, but it certainly wasn' that.Which is a good thing, because what it is is incredible.
Although, considering how often it's referenced in Supernatural fanfiction, I shouldn't be too surprised. They do have quite a bit in common - two outlaws driving across America in a beautiful beast of a car. But if I'm being honest with myself (and it always kills me to say this) Thelma and Louise is better then Spn. It's just, everything about that movie... I particually love the fact that it's two female leads who arn't relying on any male characters to save them. I mean, they get the men to do favors for them and they learn new tricks from them, but it always comes back to these two woman relying on their own brains and guts. And they are soo gutsy by the end. These girls have balls.
I have love for these two woman. A lot of love.
